after complaining, offered me a full refund and cancelled my reservation.

I'm Canadian and reserved a room at a hotel in Canada. The price the site BringFido was displaying was not indicating any currency details. When I received my credit card, I was shocked to see that the fees were charged in USD, creating a surcharge of 50$. For Canadians to book a hotel in Canada and be charged in USD is ludicrous. When I contacted the site for help, they told us to read the fine print. The room can not be refunded.

They should make it clear that all amounts will be charged in USD. This mention should be on the total line and not in small prints hidden in text below.

Fool me once, shame on you... you won't fool me twice!!!

will never use BringFido again.
