I had booked a room through BringFido but asked for a receipt from the hotel when we left. The room price was $40 lower on the receipt for the room.

I told BringFido about it and asked for a refund. They told me that they are part of Expedia and get a share of the comissions they take for booking rooms. On the BringFido website they state that there are no booking fees with their services. They told me in writing that they get a share of the commission.

They have refused to refund the difference. I would think they would be liable since their website states no fees are taken.

Sounds like false advertising to me. I'd be wary of booking with them and just use them to find hotels and then book with them directly.

Booked hotel room through bring Fido. After arriving noted that Bring Fido rate was double the hotel website rate. Called bring Fido customer service and they refused to pricematch or contact the hotel for the current rate. Learned lesson not to book through bring Fido as they do not offer pricematch.

very convoluted hotel cancellation policy. cant cancel through hotel. plus they charge you the full amount right away instead of at check in. what a pain. took me over an hour!

I arrived at the Red Roof Inn in Des Moines late at night. It's an awful and unsafe place--rooms by the hour, needles in parking lot, etc... Told front desk upon arrival I couldn't stay. They said I had to speak with Bringfido--which I unwittingly had booked with. Bringfido is owned by Booking.com. They would not refund my money. Bringfido is a scam.

I booked a hotel at the beginning and end of my trip. The hotel was so disgusting but the reviews on Fido seemed so great, but it was horrible. THE PROBLEM, is I canceled the hotel on the way back a week before, but have still been charged for the room. Fido said they could not cancel the room since they could not get a hold of the hotel And what people don't know Fido books through booking.com so what a mess to cancel anything

Bring Fido billed twice for hotel. Customer service will not help. DO NOT use this service. They did not pay the hotel after billing my card. Pain in the *** while on vacation to try to reverse the charge.

They lie a lot, don't do anything they say they will do, and still charge you for room accommodations. The manager should be working at a fast food restaurant and far away from customer service. She's rude, and highly unprofessional. Is a bad apple in the company!

Charged me way more than the hotel billed me for, called customer service to find out why. They told me to send in the receipts and they would refund the overcharge. Once I did, they proceeded to tell me they would not - that while they "do not charge any fees" that what I was overcharged was theirs for facilitating the booking? Very dirty, my advice, book with hotel directly, you will save headache and $$$.

The hotel website was cheaper. I'm not sure that paying extra is worth a glorified search engine, since the hotel didn't know I was bringing dogs. The hotel receipt showed Expedia as the payor - I was shocked to see they made a 17% commission on me. 10% is industry standard.

I made a reservation through them being fully unaware that there is a no refund policy. They first state there might be a "penalty " but do not make clear you will lose all your money. They will tell you "This particular hotel has a no refund policy." It was La Quinta. They have a refund policy. Furthermore, they don't make clear, as they should beforehand, which hotels have this no refund policy. Most hotels, actually, if booked directly, don't even charge until you check in. I had wanted to support a site for dogs and their people, I did them a favor, as it's so much easier to book direct, only to have them rip me off. They were rude about it too.

Bringfido ruined our anniversary..1st i get an email telling me that the room they advertised was not available and to call them to.give permission to switch rooms.which was fine.then they fell me it will be close to $90 more.they told me witch two were available and i chose the one with the private deck and whirlpool tub. I arrive at the B&B to.find out i ended up with the other carriage house that has no whirlpool tub..no private deck..and no one called me or emailed me that there was an issue with reservation.i was.given no option to find another place for our anniversary..and to add insult to injury..was told they overcharged me and a kids birthday party will be going on right outside our door!! I will never use this service again

I wanted to book one night. Either I accidentally clicked 3 or it was a website thing. Not sure but as soon as I submitted and saw 3 nights I called to change to the 1 night I needed. The person said they would look into it. I emailed. I got an email back that I have to pay for all nights. They said To call the hotel. The hotel said it was policy and it was not them. It was Bring Fido’s responsibility. This is a scam. I error should not cost that much money when it was called in immediately!!!! Never again will I use this company. 1st time and last. I will fight!!!!

In August, 2019 I made reservations for a meeting in Nashville,TN. Since my dog was traveling with me, I decided to book through Bring Fido which I had done numerous times in the past. I booked the room for 3 nights for a total of $615 which was immediately charged to my account. Two days later the meeting was cancelled. When I requested a refund Bring Fido cited their no refund policy and said they could not help me. I immediately contacted the hotel and they immediately refunded my money. I will never use Bring Fido again!
